Shambhala Guild Farms
An Eco-Agri-Tourism Venture Born from Friendship and a Shared Vision.
The Challenge
The vision was to create a replicable eco-agri-tourism model in Wayanad, born from a reunion of old friends. The challenge was to integrate self-sustaining permaculture, on-farm value addition, and immersive tourism while empowering the local community, transforming a nostalgic idea into a viable, impactful enterprise.
Our Approach
Reuniting as the 'famous 5 backbenchers gang,' we built the project on key pillars: establishing integrated permaculture, developing value-added products, and creating unique farm stays. A core strategy is forming a Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) to empower local communities and build a robust supply chain with a vision for national and international markets.
